Yep. That pill.
I’ll state up front that I’m pro-life. I believe that life begins at conception and that there is never a justifiable reason for ending life. However, I’m not opposed to contraception, which prevents conception from taking place. This has always been my understanding of the function of the Pill. I’ve just recently learned, though, that the Pill has another function.
Here’s a link to an article that said it much more clearly than I ever could.
To break it down in its simplest terms, if the Pill fails to prevent conception, it attempts to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, thereby ABORTING an unborn child.
I only mention it and link this article because I was once a Pill user who had NO idea that every month I was ingesting something that would intentionally abort an unintentional pregnancy. I know that the chances of this happening are small, but they’re still there and worth noting.
