Day Two of the tile project is complete! I’m not sure how many days this project is going to last, but we’re getting there…
The girls have been spending their time in the playroom, where their main focus has been creating a mess of catastrophic proportions — a task that can make even the most energetic wee one tired. Here’s Emma, taking a few minutes to relax halfway inside the Dora tent.
They finally got the rest of the linoleum up (it was all but cemented onto the foundation!) and started adding the tile. Woo-hoo!
They took out the carpet in our bathroom (which I don’t have a picture of, unless I go back to the pictures of when we first bought the house), and put in the tile. Please just ignore the fact that our toilet is sitting in the bathtub. I know I’m trying my best to ignore it!
And one last shot. All that’s left in here is pouring the grout (sp?). And putting the toilet back where it belongs, of course.
Anyway, that’s where we are at the end of Day Two…

It looks really great. I bet you are really excited to have tile instaed of carpet, it was just a horrible idea for the former owner to put it in the bathroom and the kitchen!! 🙂
