Conversation with my very logical Emma this morning…

Me to Em, “I can’t wait to go on vacation! When do we leave?”

Em to me, “When we get to the airport.”

Me to Em, “Yes, but when do we get to the airport?”

Em to me, “When we go to Walt Disney World.”

Me to Em, “But when do we go to Walt Disney World?”

Em to me, “When we go to the airport.”

Me to Em, “But WHEN do we go to the airport?”

Em to me, “When we go to Walt Disney World.”

Hmm.

Probably the best part of this whole conversation was the matter-of-fact way that Emma tells it like it is. We’ll go when we go, and when we go, we’ll go. Obviously, Mommy.

Here’s hoping that it’s sooner rather than later…
