Last night at the VBS program, Ana was asked to stand by the door with the offering basket. (Which was actually a hat, but that’s beside the point.)

As people came by and put their dollars in the hat, Ana smiled at them and didn’t say a word.

Until, that is, a friend of ours approached her and said, “Would it be okay if I put some change in there?”

Ana’s response?

“No, just bills, please.”
