About a month ago, we asked Emma what she would like to be when she grows up. She’d been watching some episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that featured Salty the Seal, who is, quite frankly, awesome. (As far as seals go.) So, it was no surprise when she said, “I think I would like to be a SEAL!”

Yesterday, we went to the OKC Zoo with the children’s department at church. Our first stop was the sea lion show, where Em was captivated by everything those sea lions did. When we got home, Emma spent all of her time leaping and barking like the sea lions did, and before long, she told me, “I want to be a SEA LION when I grow up!”

And as you can see, she’s already well on her way to making that dream a reality…
