A conversation with Emma after school one day…

Em to me: I told Luis about God today.

Me to Em: Did you?

Em to me: Oh, yeah. And I asked him if he knew about God. And he said he did!

Me to Em: Well, that’s good.

Em to me: I asked him if he loved God. And he said he did!

Me to Em: That’s very good.

Em to me: Yeah, and then I asked him if he loved me more than he loves God. And he does.

(long pause)

Me to Em: He loves you more than he loves God?

Em to me: He sure does!

Ana to herself: Oh, Emma…

It all started out so promising… and then just went downhill from there. Still love my little God-loving, boy-loving Emmy bear!
