Me to Ana, “I love me some Jesus, you know.”  Ana to me, “I love me some Jesus, too.”  Love that, for sure.

Emma to Wes, on his jokes, “I never think you’re funny, Papi.”  Ouch.

Ana, on when to marry a boy, “When he’s nice to you and doesn’t try to eat your food.”  If he steals your fries, the deal is OFF!

Emma, when Wes locked his keys in the church office, “If only Jesus was in this church, He could help us!”  You heard it from the pastor’s daughter — Jesus is NOT in our church.

Ana to Wes, “You’re a blah, blah, blah talker, Papi.  But so am I.”  Wes to Ana, “Well, it takes one to know one.”  That it does.

Emma to our associate pastor when he asked what her favorite part of VBS was, “When my Papi acted silly.”  But remember — he’s NOT funny.
