This morning, I got the girls up and ready for school.

I was on task with everything.  Up and dressed, read to and loved on, fed and packed up.  They were happy, they were prepared, and they were in the car early, ready to face the day.

We drove up to the school… only to find that today is a teacher in-service day.

The girls cheered.  I felt a little like crying.

Mommy’s productivity for the day?  Plummeting. 

Oh, well.  We’ll try this whole thing again tomorrow…
