The blurb for this book doesn’t do it justice! There’s so much more to this story, which spans the course of 14 years. The author does a wonderful job of writing the characters at their different ages and making their interactions so believable (and touching – sigh!). This is the second book I’ve read by this author and I’m definitely a fan of her work now. Her writing style is easy to read, and it makes you feel like you’re listening to a good friend tell a story.
